Ketchikan Public Library



The purpose of the Ketchikan Public Library is to provide informational, educational, and recreational materials and services for the people of the City of Ketchikan and the Ketchikan Gateway Borough. This is accomplished through the development, maintenance, and promotion of materials, physical spaces, and programs responsive to the diverse interests and needs of our community.


  • Outreach program that delivers books, movies, and music to patrons who are unable to visit the library due to mobility, incarceration or mental health issues. Email
  • E-books and audiobooks from Alaska Digital Library accessible with a library account
  • Free wi-fi available as well as public access computers
  • Children's library has games, toys, and coloring supplies. Child-centered programs and events weekly. Schedule available online.
