  • Film Theater: A 200-seat theater shows award-winning films about the region.
  • Outdoor Exploration: Visitors can explore a recreated native fishing village and learn about the Tongass’s role in sustaining Southeast Alaska communities.
  • Ranger Programs: Forest Service rangers provide guided tours, map talks, and interpretive presentations.
  • Activities for Kids and seasonal events: The center offers a scavenger hunt, a Junior Ranger program, and an Agents of Discovery mission with augmented-reality games; and events like the Alaska Hummingbird Festival and art exhibitions.
