The Ketchikan Gateway Borough Transit System provides residents and visitors with fixed-route bus service, paratransit for the disabled and elderly, and a seasonal downtown shuttle. Cost-effective system and environmentally friendly transportation option for the City of Ketchikan, the Village of Saxman, and the surrounding borough.
- The Bus: Fixed-route service that runs seven days a week to provide access to employment, shopping, and entertainment throughout the community. A mobile app, ktn.doublemap.com, also allows riders to track the bus in real-time.
- Bus+ (Paratransit/Senior Transportation): This service offers door-to-door transportation for qualifying individuals with disabilities and seniors aged 60 and older. It is run in cooperation with Southeast Senior Services.
- Downtown Shuttle: A seasonal, free shuttle operates between the cruise ship docks and downtown locations, primarily from May through September.
- Accessibility: All buses are ramp-equipped to be accessible for individuals using wheelchairs or with mobility issues. Service animals are also welcome on board.
