The mission of Resilient Youth & Community (RYC) is to advocate for and foster the safety and well-being of youth at risk and their families so they may lead productive lives. RYC offers a full spectrum of intensive and non-intensive community-based services for youth and families working through addiction, mental health challenges, and trauma. The goal is to intervene early, provide healing-centered services, and help youth build resiliency, behavioral skills, and coping strategies that support long-term well-being.

By offering both higher-intensity care for those in crisis and lower-intensity support for those seeking skill development or relapse prevention, RYC ensures that youth can receive the right level of service at the right time — preventing unnecessary hospitalization or residential placement and keeping them connected to family, school, and community.

Programs/Services

  • Individual Clinical Therapy and Psychiatric Services: Youth receive one-on-one sessions with licensed clinicians and access to psychiatric evaluation and medication management as needed.
  • Daily Group Therapy: Facilitated groups focus on psychoeducation, coping skills, emotional regulation, and positive behavior reinforcement.

  • Skills Development and Life Skills Groups: Youth are taught critical skills for healthy daily functioning—time management, communication, problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict resolution.

  • Family Skills & Parent Education: RYC provides family therapy and parenting workshops to strengthen home environments and improve caregiver engagement in the treatment process.

  • Trauma-Informed Care: All programming is delivered by staff trained in trauma-informed practices, helping youth feel safe and supported while learning to process and manage difficult experiences.

  • Educational Assistance: Youth receive up to four hours per day of academic support, either in their schools or on-site at RYC facilities, to help them stay on track academically.

  • Job Support & Independent Living Skills: The Harbor program includes workforce readiness programs that teach job search skills, workplace expectations, and independent living preparation for youth transitioning to adulthood.

  • Case Management & Wraparound Support: Comprehensive case management connects youth and families with community resources; coordinates care and ensures continuity across service providers.
