WISH is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing support and resources to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. They offer a range of services, including emergency transportation, shelter, advocacy, and counseling, to individuals in Ketchikan and other communities in Southern Southeast Alaska.

  • Crisis shelter @623 Gateway Court (next to Public Health)
  • Case Management: Personalized guidance to access resources and develop plans tailored to family needs
  • Parenting Education: Classes, workshops, and support groups to promote positive parenting skills and strengthen family relationships
  • Counseling and Therapy: Individual, family, and group sessions to address challenges such as trauma, mental health, and substance use
  • Housing Support: Support to secure safe and stable housing, including emergency shelter, transitional housing, and rental assistance
  • Elinore’s Place Child Advocacy Center (2002 1st)
  • Food boxes available
